XEBEC, Inc.

XEBEC war ein japanisches Animationsstudio.

Im Mai 1995 als Tochterunternehmen von Studio I.G. gegründet, war das Studio für eine Vielzahl erfolgreicher Anime-Produktionen verantwortlich. 2007 wurde das Unternehmen unabhängig.

Nach lang anhaltenden finanziellen Schwierigkeiten wurde das Studio Ende Mai 2019 aufgelöst. Die Animationssparte des Unternehmens wurde an Sunrise verkauft.

Founded in May 1995 as a subsidiary of Studio I.G., the studio was responsible for a number of successful anime productions. In 2007, the company became independent.

After prolonged financial difficulties, the studio was dissolved at the end of May 2019. The animation division of the company was sold to Sunrise.
